Without exaggeration, next year will become one of the most important ones in our history. The collaborationist regime is preparing another show called ‘elections’ designed, on the one hand, to legitimise the crimes already committed, and on the other, to obtain a mandate for actions designed to accelerate the process of Armenia’s integration into the Turkish world. A significant number of actors are involved in this show, while the ordinary people are being prepared for non-speaking minor roles, to be held responsible for an uncontested tragic scenario thereafter. According to the idea of the scriptwriters (that is, the Turkish puppeteers and other co-authors), the main role (most likely – for the last time) will be played by the acting satrap Pashinyan and his Young Janissaries, whilst the so-called ‘opposition’ will have to portray brave patriots, who pretend to disagree with the colonisation policy, in exchange for the illusion of preserving their miserable meaningless lives and some material benefits.
There will be other actors, too. Some of them, without self-reflection or doubt, will simply implement an internal and/or external directive, while others, full of ambition and, perhaps, even noble impulses, will decide that they are capable of giving a worthy fight and winning. However, the reality is such that if the conventions of this game are maintained, the nominal winners have long been determined. To a large extent, these are the Turkish camp and other external centres that want to get their share in exchange for legitimising this game with all the negative consequences for its object (Armenians and Armenia). In the meantime, the feudal clan system will further play the role of ‘authorities’ vs. ‘opposition’ that will continue to consistently implement the project of turning Armenia into a large geopolitical motel-brothel, while the Armenian people, deprived of identity, history and dignity, – into its service personnel. The collaborationist calls it in different ways: ‘the Real Armenia’, ‘the Fourth Republic’.
What should be done in this situation? Let us start with the most important thing and put things in order in our heads and hearts. The adversary/enemy always seeks to impose its moral and psychological agenda in order to break the will to life and resistance. It must be remembered, however, that there are no ideal scenarios in international politics and one can always find a weak link and take advantage of it. The path to the self-disciplined mind lies through the recognition of the fact, that all the so-called ‘political’ forces of the contemporary Third Republic are part of a single and indivisible anti-Armenian feudal clan system that has nothing to do with the real interests of the Armenian people and the Armenian statehood. Since its inception, it has been engaged in one thing only: imitation of political activity and weakening of internal immunity, deliberately preventing any meaningful activity.
All the so-called ‘leaders’ of the Third Republic have rejected the concept of Miatsum (reunification of Artsakh with Armenia), which marked the beginning of formation of our independent political national identity. These same ‘leaders’ later refused not only to recognise the independence of Artsakh, for which the best sons of our nation fell, but even to take responsibility for its incompetent loss/surrender and further de-armenisation. Neither Levon Ter-Petrossian, who stood at the forefront of the Karabakh Committee, nor Robert Kocharyan, who confidently insisted that the issue of Artsakh had been resolved, nor Serzh Sargsyan, who pompously said that as long as we were alive, Artsakh and Shushi would be ours, nor Nikol Pashinyan, who shouted that Artsakh was Armenia, and period.
Not to mention that all these ‘leaders’ have done everything possible to ensure that instead of a strong and organised Spyurk, we get scattered communities where the tone is set by dubious individuals pursuing dubious goals. Today, as if nothing has happened, all of them act safe and sound, talking about their effective government and preparing for new ‘elections’. Isn’t this the clearest marker of our immunodeficiency caused by a 30-year-old parasitic virus inside this feudal clan system?
Ordinary citizens of Armenia, opinion leaders, representatives of mass culture and intellectuals, representatives of business communities who agree with this, should carry out a number of simple actions. The first thing is to refuse to legitimise this vicious anti-Armenian system in their thoughts and activities, to refuse to cooperate or work with its representatives, to refuse to shake their hands, and to refuse to participate in ‘elections’ at any level, where one way or another the choice is only between actors – all playing according to a script written by the enemy. The path to liberation from this system and decolonisation of the country depends on how quickly we realise the importance of simple actions taken by each of us. Being ‘elected’ by someone with a turnout of 60% is one thing, but with a turnout of 10% – it is a completely different matter. In the first case, the entire burden of responsibility is would be borne by those who, contrary to facts and common sense, decide that it is necessary to once again reproduce someone from the system that has deprived us of memory, Artsakh, history and identity, victory, honour and pride. The second scenario, when more than 70-80% tear up the ballots and spit into the ballot boxes, opens up great opportunities.
A fair question arises: for whom and in what way? The real and only way to Armenian subjectivity (capacity to decide for ourselves) lies through creation of our national aristocracy – representatives of Spyurk and Armenia, who are ready to consciously take responsibility for shaping and promoting the Armenian national agenda at the global level. The colonised Third Republic with an imitative feudal clan is not able to develop or lobby such an agenda. In the near future, the passionaries of the Armenian world should create this institutional form, which, having a consolidated value base and ideology, will begin to address the challenges facing the Armenian world.
Today, when the process of constructing a new system of international relations is proceeding at a steady pace, many serious global players are keenly interested in the emergence of an organised Armenian transnational network. Even more – it is an urgent need. And it stems from pragmatic considerations of shaping the balance of power in relation to traditional transnational groups with extraordinary influence. On the one hand, for all its inflammability and uncertainty, this external situation creates deadly challenges and threats to Armenia and the Armenian world, calling into question the raison d’être of its continued existence as an independent, fully-fledged entity. On the other hand, it opens up a wide scope for meaningful cooperation and partnerships with key centres of power. Only on the basis of the results of this activity we will be able to answer the most important question: does the world need an independent and influential Armenian entity capable of becoming a productive and functional part of the new system of global relations?
The path ahead is difficult, but we have no doubt that it is the national aristocracy that will become the face, the voice and the defender of Armenian interests, while the anti-Armenian feudal clan system, bent on unquestioning service to hostile external players, will be thrown into the dustbin of history, and its founders, supporters, legitimisers, servants will be severely punished so that future generations of leaders and managers clearly understand the consequences of anti-national and treacherous activities – in whatever form they may be. From this day on, the slogan that should guide us should be firmly embedded in our minds and hearts: ‘No to Traitors, Yes to Aristocracy’.
