To give EVERYTHING for NOTHING

Here it is, the great geopolitical achievement of Pashinyan's seven-year rule. That's exactly what Shushi was exchanged for, that's exactly what five thousand young soldiers and officers were sacrificed for. For one clickbait headline. Terrible, shameful, yet true.

This week, the Turkish commandant and former journalist of the yellow press received another long-awaited newspaper headline. We are talking about the so-called Charter on Strategic Partnership between Armenia and the United States. The outgoing Biden administration was extremely generous with a number of countries for ‘inspiring rhetoric’ and completely useless pieces of paper. Not surprising. Over the past four years, the White House’s strategy towards Armenia has been quite simple – to praise Pashinyan as a great democratic reformer who embarked on a difficult path of peace that requires unilateral satisfaction of all the demands of Azerbaijani dictator Aliyev. The latter did not need to be given kind words, because, as a realist, he is a player and knows how to read the big geopolitical game.

Ilham Aliyev did not ask or even negotiate, he pressured and demanded. Simply put, he communicated with the ‘civilised’ world in a language he understood. No wonder he keeps getting everything he wants. None of the centres of Western civilisation began to impose even symbolic sanctions against Baku, which openly and casually carried out ethnic cleansing, expelling 120,000 Armenians from their homes in Artsakh. Now, with the support of his elder Turkish brother, he is striving to complete the process of expelling Armenians from the entire territory of Eastern Armenia, settling it with Azerbaijani and Turkish populations. The ‘West Azerbaijan’ project is far from being a myth or even a distant prospect, but an imminent inevitability, if Armenia is ruled by the current tribe of collaborators, traitors and takankas (the scum).

Pashinyan began to realise that his days were numbered, because at the next stage, the Turkish-Azerbaijani metropoles would need completely different managers. It is very important to accept the fact that his actions are aimed at solving one simple task – to save himself and receive the promised payment for the split of Armenians, the destruction of Artsakh and the transfer of humiliated Armenia to colonial rule. The yellow journalist, like his ‘colleagues‘ in the face of Mikheil Saakashvili and Volodymyr Zelensky, still have not realised that the ‘promise’ is not about politics. They enjoy neither support nor respect, because this type of people is a temporary consumable material with an extremely limited shelf life. However, the instinct of self-preservation (the personal vested interest) works for takanks, and they rush to find a new owner.

It makes no sense to talk long and much about the fact that the signed Charter has no geopolitical value, being a set of beautiful words and wishes. Ararat Mirzoyan, the collaborator and signatory from the Armenian side, described this charter best of all, calling it ‘navigation for Armenia’. There are no specific political agreements, no mechanisms and tools, no guarantees – just ‘navigation’. Here it is, the real price for surrendering sovereignty and the future of the Armenian people – ‘navigation’, what is more, one defiantly planted to the newly elected Trump. There is no doubt that the 47th President of the USA will remember this Armenian hop on the last ride of his rival – lame duck Biden. Here it is, the great geopolitical achievement of Pashinyan’s seven-year rule. That’s exactly what Shushi was exchanged for, that’s exactly what five thousand young soldiers and officers were sacrificed for. For one clickbait headline. Terrible, shameful, yet true.

The following simple fact proves that this Charter with the USA has less than zero value. The Charter is not a legal act that outlines the clear obligations of the two states and their enforcement mechanisms. This is the most common document of intent of non-binding nature. Serious agreements and treaties concluded by the United States are signed at the level of country leaders in a solemn atmosphere and go through the ratification procedure in Congress. Do not confuse the charter on strategic partnership with the USA and the treaty on strategic alliance with the USA with obtaining the status of an ally outside NATO – these are completely different things.

In reality, Joe Biden (who knew decent Armenians like Kirk Kerkorian and George Deukmejian) despises Pashinyan so much that he did not even give him the symbolic opportunity to visit the White House and sign this meaningless document in the Oval Office. Pashinyan surrendered everything and was left with nothing. Classics of the geopolitical genre. They ‘promised’ him support in everything and told beautiful stories about him being the new messiah bringing grace to his people. Eventually, they did their job – they sold him the rope that he has to hang himself with. Now Pashinyan is doubly dangerous, because he is cornered and ready to sacrifice everything and everyone for his own salvation.
