Realism’s Revenge III. A blood-soaked revelation

Recently, Turkish President Erdogan, in the heat of machismo, declared that Turkey could invade Israel like “Libya and Karabakh”. Too bad he forgot to mention that he was able to get in there with Russia’s approval, and prevailed with the very same Israeli weapons. Then, it becomes clear from the memoirs of former Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif that Tehran, “admired” by so many Armenians, was also in favour of the surrender of Artsakh to Azerbaijan. If this does not suffice, then the cherry on the top is the revelation by O’Brien, the U.S. President’s National Security Advisor, that ceding Artsakh and making unilateral territorial concessions to Azerbaijan, which has ethnically cleansed the Armenian population, are proceeding from Armenia’s “genuine” interests.

But there are no complaints to these countries, as they have been calmly and cold-bloodedly taking, selling, and re-acquiring scalps for centuries. Besides, it is unlikely that this harsh typhoon will finally grind down the Euro-Americano-Russo-Irano- and other -philias, and finally leave a bare Armenian in this savage geopolitical jungle, finally forcing him to start thinking at the very least.  At the same time, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan heads to a meeting with his Turkish “counterpart” to discuss the process of opening the border between the countries. It is emblematic that Nikol Pashinyan’s autographed licence for the colonisation of Armenia by the Turks is being carried to the foothills of the captive Ararat by a “being” that was once named Ararat. Picture this – Erdogan openly and proudly declares “it was us who brought Artsakh to an end” (of course, he could have added that he had the support of all the Armenian “rulers”), and Pashinyan, instead of cancelling or at least deferring this meeting, radiates wild happiness, optimism, and admiration, anticipating the imminent opening of the border (i.e. colonisation). Forget about all the recent “modest” statements of the outside forces, for we have once again heard the most massive, filthy, and humiliating revelation from a rootless journalist who pretends to be the ruler of “Real Armenia”.
